We’ve designed our spaces to be inspiring without being distracting.
We’ve consciously balanced form and function so that you have all the practical creature comforts you need, like being the right temperature year-round (with heating/air con as appropriate), fully adjustable ergonomic chairs, fast wi-fi, unlimited access to tea/coffee/water, plenty power sockets, lockable laptop and bike storage, and even a shower.
★ Just start – everything you need is set up & organised for less time faffing and more time doing what you love. Forget about moving the kids’ toys, endlessly brushing cat hair off things, or lamenting the lack of light – everything at The Createry is ready to go.
★ Space, lighting, temperature, and even the air has been tailored for your comfort and concentration.

Lowering barriers
We believe that learning new skills, developing digital hobbies, or starting a business should be something that everyone can do.
As well as lowering the barriers in terms of equipment and support, we also wanted to keep the cost low – affordable for hobbyists, side hustlers, bloggers, influencers, small businesses and creative dreamers.
Even if you don’t know where you’re headed yet or you make things purely for fun, The Createry can be your playground.
Just let us know what you’re specifically interested in and what you think you may use the Createry for and we’ll tailor your tour to focus more on that. Includes an (optional) free hour of co-working so you can properly trial the space and see if it works for you.

Inside & out
Taking care of people and planet is something we care deeply about. The Createry has great public transport access via bus, tram and train. A dedicated cycle lane runs alongside Castle Quay, and secure bike storage is available for cyclists (along with shower access on the first floor of The Createry). Escooters and bikes can be hired from around the city centre via an app, and parking bays for these are located on adjoining Castle Boulevard.
We work to maintain clean air within the building through air purifiers and air purifying plants, many of which have been locally sourced from The Little Plant Guys and Green’s Windmill. We also reduce carbon emissions by planting trees through One Tree Planted.
The Nottingham & Beeston Canal runs alongside The Createry, so there are views across the water and occasional accompanying chatter from the local ducks, geese, swans and herons. If you feel like getting closer to nature, there are companies that rent paddleboards, kayaks and similar in the nearby area.The Createry is situated a short walk from Nottingham city centre, just off Castle Boulevard. With canalside views and easy walking distance to gyms, supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and local schools, you can combine your Createry trip with other day to day tasks to streamline your life.
Nottingham Train Station and Broadmarsh Bus Station are just down the road, and we’re also on the Skylink bus route. The nearest tram stop is Nottingham Train Station, and you can walk via the canal path or by road to The Createry from there.
