Using it as a “return to sender” address for ecommerce businesses is at our discretion; please contact us with the details of your situation before purchasing so we can review them.
Includes certificate of business name and address - digital (or physical for an extra cost).
Please note that your website or business name must be substantially different from the names already in use at our address to avoid Google mistakenly merging local map listings (email us to check first). You can add your own phone number on Google Maps or leave the field blank.
Optional Add-On Extras:
For a small extra cost, upgrade to an acrylic sign in our building foyer with your business name, logo, and website/social media.

Virtual Address FAQs
What type of ID do I need for the ID check?
Two pieces of identification are required:
- 1x photo ID (your driving licence or passport)
- 1x proof of address within the last 3 months (e.g. a utility bill or bank statement).
It doesn’t have to be a UK passport or UK address; however, there are some high-risk countries that we are unable to accept applications from. If you have concerns about this, please email hello@thecreatery.co before submitting your application.
Why do you need my ID?
Photo ID is required for all virtual address options due to the anti-money laundering act. This data is processed and stored by Stripe. We do not share it with any third parties unless required to provide it to an official government body for legal purposes. We do not use it for any other purpose other than to conform to anti-money-laundering requirements within UK law.
Can I put the address in my website footer?
You can only use the address in your footer with the All-In plan. This is because Google takes the information from your footer and uses it to automatically create Google Map listings, and websites or businesses with similar names or keywords to existing Maps listings will cause listings to be merged together. With the All-In plan, we vet names to make sure that they aren’t too similar to each other.
What currencies can I pay in?
We currently only accept payments in GBP (£); however, if you’re outside the UK, you can use your usual debit or credit card to pay at checkout and it will be converted into GBP. Please note that this may incur a small extra charge from your bank; for details on that please check with them.
How do you store physical mail?
Any physical mail received is stored in a locked room that only staff at The Createry have access to.
Where can I see the terms?
Check out this page: Virtual Address Terms & Conditions.
Why is there an application fee for this service?
We are charged for your ID check and there’s also the internal costs we have for managing and processing your application.
What happens if I receive physical mail?
We will email you (if it’s not junk mail) and let you know the current availability to come and collect it. Mail not collected within 3 months will be marked as return to sender.
Can someone else pick up my mail?
Yes – you will need to provide a password to us and them and arrange collection details with us. In addition to providing the correct password, they will need to bring ID.
Can I pause my subscription?
Unfortunately we don’t offer this as an option. To cancel your service, please email hello@thecreatery.co otherwise it will automatically renew.
If I have multiple businesses, does one plan cover all of them?
It’s a one-business-per-plan service, so you would need separate plans for each business.
Why do you charge for this service?
In order to be able to offer this service, we have to pay recurring fees to the UK government for anti-money laundering protection and to be an approved provider.
We also have to verify each person’s ID, which is a paid check for each application.
Beyond that, there are the ongoing administration costs of managing the service itself, providing customer service to you, dealing with and forwarding on any unexpected enquiries, mail, and so on.
With the all-in option, it also means that we’re not taking another business with a similar name to yours, so there’s the exclusivity rights that comes with that.
